Would you try and convince her to stay?

If she went anyway?
Would you worry and miss her each day?
What would you do
If she never returned?
Would you try very hard to find her?
What would you do
If she had a boy then?
Would you suddenly not stand beside her?
What would you do
If she said, "He broke it"?
Would you realize it's her heart that broke?
What would you do
If she said, "It hurts so"?
Would you set out ot murder the bloke?
What would you do
If she said, "You are 'he'..."?
Would you suddenly be filled with dread?
What would you do
If she turned her back?
Would you suddenly wish you were dead?
Tell me...
What would you do
In order to heal
The heart you so carelessly spurrned?
Perhaps you should stop

XD so, uh, some of you may have actually heard about my misadventures in Germany...on the bus...if you haven't and you really wanna know, feel free to ask.
But, it resulted in a very lost and confused Dark, and she ended up being terrified. XD and words started floating through her head...which, I assure you, were way prettier than the images her imagination brought up... Anywho, this whole poem really started with the one line, "What would you do if she never returned?" and just sort of went from there... Nothing like a good fright to get the creative juices flowing, right?  Ah, I might actually start posting more poetry soon...but it'll probably all be old-ish stuff...at the very least 3 months old...but yeah |
